Vasyl Kukharskyi, a Ukrainian actor and serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has died from wounds received at the front on December 7, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

In September, film director Oles Sanin reported that Vasyl was seriously wounded. Funds were raised for his complex treatment and rehabilitation. On December 2, Kukharskyi turned 42 years old. He joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine starting from the first days of the full-scale invasion.

Kukharskyi played a major role in the 2022 film Maksym Osa: Cynocephalus’ Gold, based on the Ukrainian comic book about Ukrainian cossack Maksym Osa. He has also played in numerous Ukrainian films and series.
