Telekom Serbia launches Turkish subsidiary
The company MTEL Turkey, a subsidiary of Telekom Serbia, officially started selling television services in Turkey. There are more than 10 million people in Turkey who speak our language, so this Euro-Asian country was a logical choice for the expansion of Telekom Serbia's business in the diaspora. After Austria, Germany and Switzerland, people from the former Yugoslavia will be able to watch channels in their own language in Turkey as well, the company said in a statement.
Expressing pride in the fact that the Telekom Serbia group is starting to provide services in Turkey as well, general manager of Telekom Serbia Vladimir Lučić stated: "We are very pleased to enter the multi-million dollar Turkish market. We are deeply convinced that we will surprise all the people from our area who live in Turkey, as well as the Turkish population, because we also offer channels in the Turkish language. Our users will be able to enjoy top sports content on the Arena Sport channels, as well as film and serial content. We hope that our series will become popular in Turkey, as the Turkish series are here...Telekom Serbia currently has more than 210.000 users throughout the diaspora, and we believe that this number will only grow. Through our business, we have shown that we have become a serious and successful European telecommunications company". On the occasion of the start of work in Turkey, Zoran Drašković, director of MTEL Turkey, with his associates, visited the first business and residential users in Istanbul, that is, our compatriots who welcomed the opportunity to bring a part of their homeland into their associations and homes, spending their free time with family and friends watching their favorite television content from their homeland. In an informal and relaxed conversation, in the atmosphere of traditional Turkish hospitality, Mr. Drašković announced an even richer range of channels in the future for all our future users in Turkey, and the hosts expressed their satisfaction that they were the first to see the quality offered by the new member of Telekom Serbia Group, MTEL Turkey. The first users of MTEL in Turkey will receive a promotional package. "The welcome package will be free for three months, and if users sign a contract for 24 months, then the promo package will be for six months," said Zoran Drašković. RELATED
