UG: Vivacom in top 10 fastest growing satellite companies globally
Vivacom, part of United Group, has achieved a significant milestone by clinching a spot in the prestigious Top 10 rankings of the World Teleport Association (WTA) for the fourth consecutive year. This esteemed recognition is based on the remarkable growth in annual satellite revenue for business clients during the past year, UG said in a press release.
This outstanding achievement reflects Vivacom’s unwavering commitment to a strategic vision that revolves around investments in top-tier products, cutting-edge technologies, and the expansion of its ground infrastructure. Supported by United Group’s regional expertise and backing, the group’s overall investment in Bulgaria is set to reach BGN 4.8 billion by 2026. Victoriya Boklag, CEO of United Group said: “For four consecutive years, being part of the Top 10 fastest-growing global companies offering satellite services to businesses is a significant recognition for Vivacom. It reaffirms that our continuous investments in innovation, consistently high-quality services, and the exceptionally high expertise of our team on both Bulgarian and international market are the key ingredients to our continued success.” Some of the biggest business clients of Vivacom’s satellite services are: Disney, Eutelsat, Viacom, National Geographic Channel, Viasat, Endurosat, Leaf Space along with many other content providers, telecoms and satellite operators. Just a month ago, Vivacom and Eutelsat Group announced the commencement of operations for their ground station for satellite communications in the village of Mogila, Stara Zagora.
