SkyShowtime launches cheaper ad plan
SkyShowtime announced the introduction of a new ad-supported plan—Standard with Ads—which will be offered alongside its existing plan, which will be re-named Standard Plus. Standard with Ads will include advertising, while Standard Plus remains ad-free. Standard with Ads will be available from April 23.
Standard with Ads provides consumers an even more affordable entertainment option for the whole family. Standard with Ads features all of SkyShowtime’s blockbuster movies, new and exclusive series, and local original programming at a great price. The new Standard with Ads plan will be introduced across all of SkyShowtime’s 20+ markets including Albania, Andorra, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. This makes SkyShowtime the first major streaming service to launch an ad-supported plan across all of its markets. SkyShowtime CEO Monty Sarhan said: “SkyShowtime has always been committed to offering great entertainment at a great price. We continue to invest in bringing the best of Hollywood and compelling local content to consumers in our markets.
