Beta adds Operation Sabre ahead of Canneseries World Premiere
Beta Film has picked up international distribution rights to Serbian crime thriller Operation Sabre (Sablja, 8x1h), which is based on the true events of the assassination of the Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić in 2003. The eight-hour series has been selected for Canneseries’ Long Form Competition and will celebrate its World Premiere in the prestigious Grand Auditorium Lumière in attendance of cast and crew on 8 April 2024.
CEETV reminds that RTS postponed the premiere of the series in Serbia in order to have a chance to take part in the competition. This will be the only CEE title showcased during the festival. Operation Sabre is produced by This and That Productions (Snezana van Houwelingen) in co-production with Bulgaria's Agitprop (Martichka Bozhilova) for Radio Television of Serbia. Beta Film handles international sales. RELATED
