Skai airs yes Studios’ documentary about Hamas terrorist attacks
NOVA, yes Studios’ powerful and poignant real-time documentary capturing the Hamas terrorist attacks at the Nova Festival in Israel on October 7 last year, has now been acquired by Skai in Greece, the Israeli company announced.
The 1 x 52 film was featured on the Greek FTA channel on May 17 during an evening of programming dedicated to the Israel-Palestine conflict. The announcement from yes Studios comes hot on the heels of NOVA airing in Norway on VGTV. The memorable documentary uses self-shot and mostly exclusive footage from festival attendees to chronicle, minute-by-minute, the tragic events of that day when Hamas terrorists executed more than 300 partygoers and kidnapped a further 40. The film portrays real-time reactions and emotions to the unfolding horror, transporting viewers and allowing them to decide the truth of what happened on that fateful day. Sharon Levi, MD of yes Studios, commented: “We are proud to see an upsurge in international interest for this important film and are grateful that major local broadcasters like Skai in Greece now see NOVA as a vitally important part of the conflict’s story – and one that their audiences should be given an opportunity to view. As the conflict continues and the narrative changes daily, this self-shot and authentic documentary remains one of the most credible ways to see how brutally everything started last year.” NOVA has been produced by Kastina Communications for yes Docu, with Dan Pe’er directing. yes Studios is distributing the documentary in the international marketplace.
