Netflix premieres first ever Cypriot movie next month
Find Me Falling will become the first Cypriot film to be streamed on Netflix.
People magazine recently premiered the trailer, highlighting Emmy and Grammy-winning actor and musician Harry Connick Jr.’s starring role in the romantic film set against the idyllic backdrop of Cyprus. “Coming off a flop album and his biggest hit’s dwindling popularity, ageing rock star John Allman (Connick) decides to take a break from his career to reclaim his spark,” teases the synopsis. He then moves to an “isolated cliffside home” on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. “His dream of keeping a low profile is derailed when he is routinely confronted by desperate souls and later faced with even more complicated surprises when an old flame reignites,” the synopsis adds. The movie will be available on Netflix worldwide starting Friday, July 19. Additionally, Cypriot audiences will have the opportunity to experience the film in cinema theatres for a limited time. This Cypriot-American co-production is a collaboration between Jupiter Peak Productions (USA) and Meraki Films. The project received support from the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus, the Cyprus Film Advisory Committee (CFCC), and Invest Cyprus. RELATED
