Italy and Serbia launch film co-production partnership
After being signed in Belgrade on March 21, 2023, the Agreement on film co-production between the Government of the Republic of Italy and the Government of Serbia entered into force on August 4.
An agreement that is valid for 5 years, with tacit renewal, and which highlights how all co-productions between the two countries are assimilated to national works. This would make it possible to access the benefits provided by the law of each of the two countries. In addition, co-productions would have to be made and dubbed or subtitled in order to be distributed in the Italian Republic and the Republic of Serbia. The distribution of income, from the co-productions will also have to be proportional to the financial contributions of each producer. RELATED
