Klix.ba launches new documentary at AJB DOC Film Festival
After the documentary Džemo, which was also shown at the AJB DOC Film Festival 3 years ago, and the documentary film Karahasan about the great Bosnian writer and essayist Dževad Karahasan, Klix.ba has proudly announced its new documentary film - Family (Porodica) created by Davorin Sekulić, which will be screened on September 16 as part of the 7th edition of the AJB DOC Film Festival.
Family is a story about a 'mixed' marriage in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the story of Srebrenica, the city as it was and as it could have been but is not. Nermina and Marinko have been married for 39 years. All this time they have gained a lot - they have 5 children together - Tatjana, Davorina, Nina, Denis and Sandro but also lost a lot - war, refugees, losing family members... They have survived all of this together, raising their children to become successful and honest people. For almost 24 years, they have been living again in their home in Srebrenica despite the problems, the intimidation and the threats. But a house is not a home when it's empty, when in peace you almost survive the fate of war... This is a story about families, a story about Srebrenica, a story about leaving and waiting. The premiere of the film co-produced by Al Jazeera Balkans and Klix.ba will be held on September 16 at 19.30 at the Cineplexx cinema in Sarajevo. RELATED
