Sphere Abacus secures a raft of sales in CEE
Sphere Abacus, formerly Abacus Media Rights, announced package deals across fiction and non-fiction titles in CEE.
Pay TV channel Pickbox has secured a drama package for Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Bulgaria for award-winning drama Catch Me A Killer (11 x one hour) – CMAK Films with LMP Night Train Media, The Cuckoo (4 x one hour) – Clapperboard Studios and The Boy That Never Was (4 x one hour) – Subotica. FTV Prima, Czech Republic’s private media group, has acquired a non-fiction package including Top Guns: Inside the RAF S2 (6 x one hour) – True North Productions, The First Inventors (4 x one hour) – Ronde Media/Moogie Down, Alan Cumming’s Most Luxurious Train Journeys: Scotland (4 x one hour) – 14th Floor Productions/GroupM Motion Entertainment, The Titan Disaster (w/t) (1 x one hour, 1 x 43-minute version also available) – Renegade Stories/Galafilm, Downwind (1 x 120’) – Shapiro-Miller and Secret World of Sound with David Attenborough (3 x one hour) – Humble Bee. Public media service HRT in Croatia has picked up Nike’s Big Bet: Alberto Salazar and the Fine Line of Sport (1 x 45’) – Paul Kemp Productions/Cream Films in partnership with Globe, The Moment: How Sports Changed the World (1 x 58’) – Red Bull Studios, 1895 Films, Brazil 2002: The Real Story BI (1 x 90’) – Collective Media Group/Entourage Sports/Entertainment Trailer Films, Boris Becker: The Rise & Fall (2 x 45’) – Finestripe Productions and Colombia: Road to Glory 1994 – 2001 (1 x 85’) – Trailer Films.
