Studio 89 and Dreamspark today announced new licensing deals for their hit reality format The Power.

As CEETV reported first several weeks ago, the show will be adapted in Greece and Hungary by Skai and RTL Hungary, respectively. Additionally, it was announced that Acun Medya has picked up the rights for Romania.

In 2025, the French format will be also adapted in Germany and Mexico, while NBCUniversal has optioned it for the UK, US and Australia. Earlier, the format rights were sold in Belgium and the Netherlands to Vincent TV and in Spain, Portugal and Italy to Fremantle and the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Norwaya nd Finland) to Banijay Nordics. The original will return with a second season on W9 in France in spring 2025.
