Greek and Serbian projects among Series Mania's Co-Pro Pitching Sessions picks

Laurence Herszberg, Founder and General Director of Series Mania (March 21-28), today announced the 15 projects of 16 selected as part of the Co-Pro Pitching Sessions (March 25), the founding premise and most anticipated event of the Series Mania Forum (March 25-27). The 16th project, Ruth’s Ghosts from the US/Germany (6 x 60’) which was announced on the 18th as part of the Berlinale's Co-Pro Series Market will be presented but excluded from the competition for the grand prize.

The lineup includes two projects from CEE, one from Greece and one copro from Serbia.

The Co-Pro Pitching Sessions – the founding premise and most anticipated event of Series Mania Forum, will highlight 15 series seeking international funding. The best project will be awarded a 50,000€ prize to help develop the series, as determined by a professional jury of leading industry executives.

For this 2025 edition, 406 series projects were submitted, from 72 different countries, including new territories such as New Zealand, The Philippines, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Uganda and Eswatini.
