![]() EBU welcomes appointment of new ERT CEO
The Greek broadcaster ERT has appointed Konstantinos Papavasiliou as its new Chief Executive Officer, EBU reports.
With extensive experience in public broadcasting, he has held key leadership positions and has played a pivotal role in the transformation of the organization in recent years. He is the first ERT employee to assume the position of CEO following an open selection process. Konstantinos Papavasiliou has served as ERT’s General Director of Programming since 2020. During his tenure, he helped reshape the public broadcaster’s television and radio presence. He also previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at ERT. He holds a degree in Economic Studies from the University of Piraeus, Greece and a master’s degree in modern journalism studies. RELATED
