French distributor M6 Formats yesterday officially announced that ANT1 in Greece will be airing the local remake of Flat Hunters in the country.

CEETV reported about the format deal in October last year. We also reported that the show will take over the access slot of the channel from next Monday, February 23.

M6 Formats noted that this is the 7th international adaptation of the French format, following the successful first season on TV2 last year in Hungary, Belgium where the 9th season is currently airing on Play, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, and Italy, where the 6th season is airing on RealTime, becoming one of the channel's flagship programs, with a 200% increase in viewership in just two years.

"Over the recent years, the iconic real-estate competition format Flat Hunters became a very powerful recipe for broadcasters in all territories which adapted it, and we believe this format has a universal appeal," said Dimitri Gelineau, International Sales Manager at M6 Formats.
