Today at Kyiv Media Week 2019, BBC Studios announced its first ever format sale to Lithuania after an agreement was struck with Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) for Dancing with the Stars. CEETV reported first that the show will air on the Lithuanian pubcaster in July.

As CEETV reported earlier, the 12-part series will be produced in house by public broadcaster LRT and will air this fall. The agreement with LRT marks the 58th local production of the multi-award winning format.

Over 300 series of Dancing with the Stars have already aired globally, with most recent deals including Spain and Myanmar. In Central and Eastern Europe the series will be on air this year in Ukraine (1+1), Poland (Polsat), Czech Republic (CT), and recently ended its first series on Nova TV in Croatia.
