Talpa signs multi-season deal with TVP for The Voice franchise #MIPCOM
TVP in Poland has secured the rights for the entire The Voice franchise and confirms 3 seasons for each format, Talpa said this morning. Poland will be the 11th country to adapt The Voice Senior since it launched last summer in the Netherlands. The show will make its debut later this year on TVP2. The Voice has been a steady pillar in the broadcaster’s schedule since 2011 and a 10th season is set to air this fall. A third season of the kids’ version is scheduled for January 2020. All shows will be produced by Rochstar.
Sebastian van Barneveld, SVP Licensing Talpa Global says, “This unique step up in TVP’s long term relationship with both Rochstar, and Talpa Global in a growing Polish media landscape with regards to The Voice franchise attests to the strength of the shared brands, the high quality of the productions, and their intrinsic connection to the Polish people. Strengthening our partnership gives all parties the chance to focus on building these special brands even further, both in quality and resonance with the Polish people.” Rinke Rooyens, Owner and President of Rochstar adds, “We’re proud of our long-term partnership with Talpa, as we have been working together for many years. With TVP we have found a great partner for the Talpa formats. The Voice brands are all very successful in Poland and we believe all parties involved will benefit from this great cooperation.” RELATED
