The third season of the adaptation of the Caracol Television format El Desafio/The Challenge is already airing on Nova TV Bulgaria, and, since its launch, it has positioned itself as the most-watched program in its slot. The start of the new season registered the highest results in the reality show’s history in Bulgaria. During the first episode, Nova attracted more than half of the Bulgarian active-aged viewers (18-49), the distributor reports.

Paloma García, Director of International Sales for Europe and Africa, highlighted: “We are very proud of the success of the Bulgarian version of our El Desafio/The Challenge format, now in its third edition. For this new season, which will feature night challenges on the beach for the first time, the call hit a new record of applications, reaching for the first time, in Bulgaria, more than 10.000, to finally choose 24 contestants, among which are personalities recognized by the Guinness World Records, as well as members of the Bulgarian army who have participated in missions in Afghanistan.
