TNT boss voices support for Putin’s war in Ukraine
A number of Russian celebrities have openly supported Putin’s so-called “military operation” in Ukraine which started on February 24. Among them is also Tina Kandelaki, who was recently appointed GM of TNT Russia. She is also Deputy GM of Gazprom Media and MD of Gazprom Media Entertainment Television (GPM RTV).
This is what she wrote in her Instagram account: “A new day has come. Let’s repeat the rules of critical thinking: 1. Do not trust the photos and videos with captives. There are already examples where a seemingly Russian pea coat wears an Ukrainian uniform. This is funny, but not understood by everyone. 2. Now it is already evident who is the traitor once again. I will not provide a list of Telegram channels and media – the white threads stick out like white ribbons. 3. The videos with crying and yelling off the shot: aah, they are killing peaceful citizens – is a virus which was created to confuse you. The authors of such fakes know well about all points of paint. 4. Try to keep a cool head and do not engage in self-recruitment in the lines of victims of Anglo-Saxon propaganda. Sometimes it is more useful to tell oneself: I don’t know nothing than to know the lies you have prepared. P.S. And the most important: when you see social media posts with the words: “What a horror, how ashamed I am of Russia, what a pity for the Ukrainians!”, ask these just people about the deaths of our people in Donbas. For the last 8 years. You will be amazed.” The post features an image of allegedly hands of a Russian soldier holding a flower with the hashtag DavaizaMir (LetsgoforPeace). The Ukrainian presenter Mariya Yefrosynina reacted to the post on Facebook: "From today, everyone curses you! For your posts. For your words. For your lies.” “My only hope is that you are writing all this crap on someone's orders… Be human, stop lying on your fucking social media," she said. She also noted that after that the Russians are doomed to an eternal sense of shame. "The Russian people are doomed to an eternal sense of shame for being Russian. Everywhere on the planet, you will feel ashamed when people find out that you are Russian.” She also called on her fans to write the word "shame" under posts claiming that there are fascist aggressors in Ukraine, from whom Russia frees everyone.
