Russian screenwriters raise voice against Putin’s war in Ukraine
Russian screenwriters have signed an open letter regarding the situation in Ukraine.
“We are forbidden to use the word "War". We can use the word "Mir" (Peace/World). The peace of Ukraine is being destroyed. The world of an independent sovereign state is now under fire. The Russian world is collapsing. The world that has already come to our country and will come in the near and distant future is a world of isolation, a world of economic, cultural and humanitarian catastrophe. Disasters for those who "disagree", and for those who support the military special operation. We, the screenwriters of the Russian Federation, call for the sake of our common peace to stop hostilities and find words for dialogue and negotiations.” More and more professionals sign the letter, the signees as of February 27 were: Anastasia Palchikova Roman Kantor Paulina Andreeva Anna Kozlova Michael Syringe Natalya Meshchaninova Oleg Malovichko Ekaterina Mavromatis Mikhail Mestetsky Alexander Belov Evgeny Izrailit Sergey Kozin Kirill Kachurin Anna Parmas Lyubov Mulmenko Alexey Ionov Alexey Karaulov Maria Mikulina Irina Pivovarova Artyom Zolotarev Mila Prosvirina Sergei Kaluzhanov Egor Chichkanov Alena Zvantsova Dmitry Konstantinov Nikolai Kulikov Natalya Dubovaya Nikita Vlasov Alexander Talal Ruslan Sorokin Maria Parasyuk Andrey Shchetkin Shorena Pacia Maria Shulgina Pyotr Todorovsky Alexey Kazakov Vasily Zorkiy Mikhail Sokolovsky Maria Galperina Maria Melenevskaya Maria Saprykina Victoria Fomina Irina Gorbenko John Kuratov Olga Nikiforova-Demiurge Lyubov Shakhanova Marina Latsis Nelly Vysotskaya Tatyana Artseulova Konstantin Galdaev Elena Strogaleva Alexander Vartanov RELATED
