ETV held a telethon in support of Ukraine
Estonian broadcaster ETV held a telethon in support of Ukraine for three days. In particular, ETV showed a joint performance of Estonian choirs and the documentary by Lisa Tatarinova "Mariupol - Chronicles of Hell". Ukrainian feature films are also presented on the TV channel for three consecutive Saturday, as CEETV reported earlier.
The TV premiere of the film Mariupol - Chronicles of Hell also took place in Estonia. The documentary is based on the stories of witnesses to the destruction of the city, who survived the occupation and were able to leave Mariupol. The author is the head of TTB-Studio Liza Tatarynova. Screenings of Ukrainian cinema continue on ETV. The program includes such films as Taras Tkachenko's The Nest of the Turtledove (shown on May 21), Timur Yashchenko's Cherkasy (May 28) and Yaroslav Lodygin's The Wild Fields (June 4). A selection of Ukrainian films is also available for viewing at the PÖFF online cinema. ETV also raised funds to support Ukraine. Ukraine’s National Council has added the Estonian broadcaster to the List of Friends of Ukraine. RELATED
