The winners of the 2nd Heart of Europe International TV Festival
On Thursday, November 17, the best productions submitted by public broadcasters from Central and Eastern Europe were awarded at a the closing ceremony of the 2nd Heart of Europe International Television Festival.
For this year’s edition, the festival received submissions from Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine that went on to compete in 5 categories: Feature film, Feature series, Documentary, Children and Youth, and Digital. The winning projects were chosen from among 100 entries by the juries, composed of international TV industry experts. A SPECIAL AWARD OF THE TVP BOARD: Triumph Road. Jonas Karolis Chodkevičius, dir. Waldemar Krzystek / Poland / TVP DOCUMENTARY 1st place: Bucha 22, dir. Vladyslav Vasylchenko / Ukraine / UA:PBC 2nd place: ex aequo: Lines, dir.
