Creators from Central and Eastern Europe are invited to participate in the Heart of Europe forum. The forum is open for submissions of television production projects at various stages of development.

The forum is open to project entries in three categories: Feature Film, Feature Series and Documentary. The call is open until August 15, 2023.

To participate in the forum the organizers invite filmmakers from: Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Georgia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Belarus, Moldova and Bulgaria. This year’s edition is the second edition of this event, it will be held as part of the 3rd Heart of Europe International Television Festival on September 25-28, 2023.

From the projects submitted by filmmakers, the organizers will select up to 10 projects in each of the three categories to be presented during pitching sessions at the Heart of Europe International Television Festival and Forum.

Aside from the pitching opportunities it offers, the Heart of Europe Forum is designed as a networking platform, hosting sales and acquisition professionals, representatives of film institutes and regional film funds, public broadcasters from the CEE region as well as Polish producers and Polish Television executives representing the production and programming departments. Thus, the forum provides an outstanding opportunity to seek collaborators for production, establish new contacts within the industry and schedule one-to-one meetings with potential partners.

The forum is also a space for expert panel discussions on the most pressing topics concerning audiovisual industry, which will be attended by professionals in their respective fields.

Representatives of the TV and film industry as well as the press can now request an accreditation for the Heart of Europe International TV Festival & Forum.
