You read it first! Banijay confirms Polish Drag Me Out
Banijay today announced that Endemol Shine Poland (part of Banijay Germany) will produce entertainment format Drag Me Out (Czas na Show. Drag Me Out) for TVN Poland. Marking the third adaptation of the Mastiff TV Denmark-created format, the show will air in an evening primetime slot from spring.
The show was actually supposed to premiere last fall, but its launch was moved to spring 2024, as CEETV reported earlier. Lidia Kazen, Director of TVN, commented: “We are introducing a program that opens the door to the spectacular world of drag culture. A world that is a form of art: expressive, colorful and inclusive. We want to bring the drag queen phenomenon closer to our viewers and consolidate TVN's position as a progressive station. Behind each costume, there is a moving story, and Drag Me Out forms a key part of our spring schedule.” Małgorzata Perkowska-Czaja, Managing Director of Endemol Shine Poland, said: “From our extensive Banijay catalogue, we always try to identify and propose formats that will be unique and distinctive in the market. This is what Drag Me Out is; a combination of emotional stories, amazing metamorphoses and unforgettable and, above all, brave stage performances, that we haven't seen on TV before!” RELATED
