Cutting-edge technologies a key topic at NEM Dubrovnik 2024
With one month before the 11th edition of NEM Dubrovnik, held June 10-13, the organizers again share additional insights to the four-day agenda.
Besides four confirmed keynote speakers and the significant presence of several major US and European studios, the TV market with a view will again be greatly focused on technology. For years, NEM Dubrovnik has dedicated a special part of the program to new technological solutions and achievements that remarkably affect the industry and transform how content is produced, distributed, and consumed. Through various panel discussions, this ongoing topic will be discussed by analyzing FAST channels and how they complement the TV business, and the conversation will be sponsored by Wurl. Panel discussion sponsored by NPAW and Backscreen will raise the question about intelligence-driven video distribution. The highly popular topic of artificial intelligence will be presented from a different angle by representatives of Omdia, PlumResearch, and Maria Valenzuela, Senior Media Executive. Aymeric Genty, SVP Sales Europe - Video Business Unit will share the latest insights from Eutelsat. TV Product Showcase will again serve as a platform for ground-breaking companies to present their solutions, products, and services which enhance the industry in technological terms. The experts who will discuss technological achievements and the various ways it affects the industry are: Maria Rua Aguete, Executive Director, Technology Fellow, Omdia; Keith Bedford, General Manager, EMEA, Wurl; Julia Maxwell, Executive Director, European Video on Demand Coalition; Victoria Davies, Managing Partner, Davies, Stoychev & Partners; Anastasia Melnikova, Solution Architect Streaming, Gcore; Ladislav Navrátil, Co-Founder, Tivio Studio; Boris Yurin, Sales Director, Eastern Europe, Ateme; Stefan Niesen, Vice President Sales EMEA, Amagi Corporation; Daniel Friedlaender, Senior Vice President & Head of Office, CCIA Europe; and Jonathan Broughton, Head of Research, PlumResearch. In June 2024, Dubrovnik will once again become the central place in Europe with unique options for successful networking, arranging business deals, and sharing knowledge within the television industry.
