The Ripple Effect, led by Gil Formats, Armoza Formats, and Endemol Shine Israel alumna Adva Avichzer, has partnered with Platige Film Project to represent its slate of premium scripted content globally. Platige Film Project joins the agency’s growing roster, which includes Zoa Films, Eight Productions, Beyond Creative, and HSCC.
Backed by the visual mastery of Platige Image—the award-winning animation and VFX powerhouse behind Netflix’s The Witcher, Another Day of Life, Love, Death & Robots, and Secret Level—Platige Film Project marks the studio’s bold expansion into the scripted space, with a focus on elevated, genre-driven storytelling for global audiences. At the helm of Platige Film Project is Dorota Szcześniak (formerly of Sony Pictures Television Networks, TVP S.A.). As a creative executive with over 1,000 hours of scripted content overseen, she drives the studio’s expansion into high-end, genre-driven international drama—epic in scale, intimate in emotion. "Platige has a proven track record and a unique talent for adapting powerful IP, from hit video games to bestselling books, bringing stories from different mediums to the screen with real skill," said Adva Avichzer, CEO of The Ripple Effect. "We’re lucky to be partnering with this team. Dorota has an incredible eye for exceptional projects. I’ve always respected her—not just as a professional, but as a friend. And in this industry, working with great people makes all the difference." Dorota Szcześniak, CEO of Platige Film Project, added: "We’re entering this next chapter with the same ambition and artistry that built Platige’s global reputation. At Platige Film Project, we believe bold stories deserve bold execution – and we’re here to push boundaries and connect Central European creativity with the world. I’m genuinely thrilled to collaborate with Adva, and The Ripple Effect. Her professionalism and vision have impressed me ever since our time working together within the Banijay group. Series Mania was a true launchpad – now we’re heading to the Cannes Film Festival with even greater momentum." RELATED
